baked corned beef
- 2 lb or more corned beef brisket
- 2 can of beef broth
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- place brisket in pot with seasoning packet provided massaged all over
- pour beef broth in pot place on medium high on stovetop.
- bring to a boil reduce heat cover and let simmer for 1 and a half hour
- preheat oven to 350. place meat and juices in oven continue cooking for another hour.if adding cabbage boil cabbage drain and bake with the meat and the meat juices
- let stand for 15 minutes.
- slice.
- you can serve with cabbage.
