Strawberry-Orange Lush
- 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
- 3/4 cup cold milk
- 2 tsp. zest and 1/4 cup juice from 1 navel orange
- 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) angel food cake, cut horizontally into 3 layers
- 2 Tbsp. strawberry preserves
- 5 strawberries, cut in half Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- Beat pudding mix, milk, orange zest and juice in medium bowl with whisk 2 min.
- Stir in half the COOL WHIP.
- Refrigerate 5 min.
- or until thickened.
- Stack cake layers on plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers.
- Frost cake with remaining COOL WHIP.
- Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Microwave preserves in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 15 to 30 sec.
- or just until warmed; stir.
- Drizzle over cake.
- Top with strawberries.
