Beef Tamale Hotdish Recipe

  1. Brown grnd beef, shortening, onion and garlic till crumbly.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Cut tamales into 1 inch pcs.
  4. Add in tamale pcs, corn, tomato sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper to beef mix.
  5. Season with cayenne pepper to taste.
  6. Bake in 2 1/2 qt casserole at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  7. Top with olives and cheese; return to oven for 10 min.
