Smothered Burritos Recipe
- 1 pkg. soft tortilla shells
- 1 (16 ounce.) can refried beans
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1/2 sm. onion, minced
- 1 pg. taco seasoning
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 slices American cheese
- Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 can tomato soup
- Chili seasoning
- Shredded lettuce
- Tomato chunks
- Brown meat and drain.
- Add in taco seasoning, beans, onions and water.
- Simmer 5 min.
- Add in American cheese and let heat.
- Put mix in center of soft shell.
- Roll and place in 9x13 pan.
- Mix tomato soup, chili seasoning and sufficient water to rinse cans.
- Heat.
- Pour over burritos.
- Top with cheddar cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
- Top with lettuce and tomatoes before serving.
