Flora's Hillbilly Cornmeal Gravy

  1. Get meat drippings hot in a med-high skillet.
  2. (I usually do this after frying bacon)
  3. Put your cornmeal in the skillet and let get a lil brown.
  4. About 5min.
  5. Pour in your milk and let it all come up to a bubble and start to thicken.
  6. If it gets too thick just add a lil more milk.
  7. This is awesome on biscuits or on fried cornbread.
  8. But my fave is on fried taters.
  9. Make your tounge slap ya brain out.
