Pears Au Chocolat for 2

• 1 (8 ounce) can pear halves, drained
• 18 teaspoon peppermint extract
• 0.5 (17 1/2 ounce) can prepared chocolate pudding (1 cup)
• 12 cup whipped topping
• 2 maraschino cherries

1. Place 2 pear halves in each dessert dish.
2. Stir peppermint extract into pudding; spoon on pears.
3. Garnish with dollop o fwhipped topping and maraschino cherry or mint leaf.
