Nut Goodie Bars

  1. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in double boiler over low heat.
  2. After melted, put 1/2 of mixture into a greased bun pan larger than 9 x 13-inch.
  3. Cool this in refrigerator until hard.
  4. Save the other 1/2 in double boiler for later (no heat now).
  5. Mix together dry regular vanilla pudding, evaporated milk and margarine.
  6. Boil 1 minute.
  7. Add powdered sugar.
  8. Mix and add vanilla or maple flavoring; stir until blended.
  9. Spread this over 1st layer.
  10. Mix Spanish peanuts in
  11. the mixture in double boiler and spread on top of 2nd layer.
  12. Store in refrigerator until used.
