PROTEIN BARS Recipe Sadrac
- 1 cup oat flour, just grind up oatmeal in your coffee grinder or food processor
- 1 scoop your favorite Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed, if you have it whole, use your coffee grinder
- 1 tbsp wheat germ, if you can't find it or don't have it, omit it
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 3 egg whites
- 3/4 cup sweetener, your favorite brand of sugar substitute, or Real Sugar if you like
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 jars of baby food,one that has the least amount of carbs (carrots)
- 1 tbsp wheat germ, if you can't find it or don't have it, omit it

- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 3 egg whites

- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 jars of baby food,one that has the least amount of carbs (carrots)
- Preheat oven to 350, Spray a 8x8 backing dish or pan, you can also use Parchment Paper and spray the paper.
- In a large bowl mix the flour/oatmeal, Protein Powder, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, flaxseed, and wheat germ
- In a smaller bowl whisk the egg whites and sweetener until foamy and dissolved Add the ricotta cheese and baby food and whisk until well blended
- Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and whisk until well blended
- Pour into prepared baking dish and bake for 20-26 minutes...or until its set
- This recipe will make 16 bars and you can have two as a serving....enjoy after your workout or as a healthy snack!
