Crispy Wontons Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 pound grnd pork
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Original Ranch dressing mix
- 6 doz. wonton skins
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
- 2 c. prepared ranch salad dressing
- In large bowl, combine beef, pork, onions, cornstarch, soy sauce, and dry salad mix; stir well.
- Place a small mound of mix in center of each wonton skin.
- With your fingers, rub a bit of egg white on top of 2 edges of wonton skin.
- Press skin together in half to create triangle, making sure skin is sealed on all sides.
- Place 2 long points of triangle on top of each other and seal with egg white.
- Deep fry till golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with prepared salad dressing for dipping.
