Best Fried Fish Recipe

  1. Dip fillets in 1 c. lowfat milk, salt and pepper, coat fillets proportionately with the corn meal.
  2. Fry in warm oil in frying pan with 1 to 1 1/2" oil.
  3. Cook till light brown, remove to platter lined with paper towels.
  4. Pour off oil, saving about 1/4 c.. Add in 3 Tbsp.
  5. flour, salt and pepper, stirring with wire whisk or possibly large spoon.
  6. Cook till thick.
  7. Pour into bowl, serve with fillets, and warm bread.
