Chocolate Yogurt Cookies
- 1-2/3 cups flour
- 3 packets creamy wheat instant hot cereal
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 1-2/3 cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
- powdered sugar, optional
- Blend flour, cereal, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda in small bowl; set aside.
- Beat margarine or butter, sugar and egg in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy; mix in yogurt.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients on low speed until well blended.
- Drop by tablespoons onto greased and floured baking sheets.
- Bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes.
- (Do not overbake.)
- Remove from sheets; cool on wire racks.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
