Chicken Cooked in Garlic, Butter, and Soy Sauce
- 1 Chicken thigh (with the skin)
- 50 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic (grated)
- Pierce the chicken thigh (skin side down) all over with a fork so that the flavors can soak in easily.
- Heat the frying pan over high heat, put the chicken with the skin side down, and cook until golden brown.
- Once golden brown, flip over with the skin facing up, add all the ingredients, cover, and simmer over low heat.
- At this point, set your timer for 10 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, flip over the chicken with the skin side down, cover, and cook over low heat without touching it for 4 minutes.
- Take the lid off for the remaining 1 minute, raise the heat to medium, and flip the chicken over several times to coat it evenly with the sauce.
- When it's done, cut, and serve on a plate.
- Drizzle the remaining sauce on your chicken slices and enjoy.
