Chicken Cooked in Garlic, Butter, and Soy Sauce

  1. Pierce the chicken thigh (skin side down) all over with a fork so that the flavors can soak in easily.
  2. Heat the frying pan over high heat, put the chicken with the skin side down, and cook until golden brown.
  3. Once golden brown, flip over with the skin facing up, add all the ingredients, cover, and simmer over low heat.
  4. At this point, set your timer for 10 minutes.
  5. After 5 minutes, flip over the chicken with the skin side down, cover, and cook over low heat without touching it for 4 minutes.
  6. Take the lid off for the remaining 1 minute, raise the heat to medium, and flip the chicken over several times to coat it evenly with the sauce.
  7. When it's done, cut, and serve on a plate.
  8. Drizzle the remaining sauce on your chicken slices and enjoy.
