Rotisserie Style Dry Rub Chicken
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 3/4 cup salt
- 1/4 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 2 tbsp thyme
- 3 tbsp marjoram
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tbsp whole ground black peppercorn
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1/3 tbsp ground bay leaf
- 2 medium sized whole chickens
- Preheat the oven to 250F
- Rub the chicken with olive oil until its evenly and lightly coated.
- Wisk together dry rub ingredients with a fork in a small bowl.
- Use the rub and coat the entire outside and inside of the chicken.
- And bake for 5 hours.
