Sweet and Sour Wings

  1. Cook wings in water (to cover) to make broth.
  2. Sprinkle chicken wings with garlic salt.
  3. Let stand one hour.
  4. Roll in corn starch, then in beaten egg.
  5. Fry in one inch of peanut oil until brown and crisp.
  6. Put in single layer in flat pan.
  7. Make sauce with rest of ingredients, including broth.
  8. Cook until sugar melts, then pour over chicken wings.
  9. Bake at 325 for one hour.
  10. Baste and uncover during last 15 minutes.
