La Canadiense

• 2 ounces Canadian whiskey
• 1 ounce joven mezcal
• 1/2 ounce maple syrup
• 1 dash apple bitters
• 1 dash old-fashioned bitters, preferably Fee Brothers
• Strip of peel from 1/2 orange

1. In a small pitcher, stir together whiskey, mezcal, maple syrup and bitters.
2. Add peel and muddle.
3. Pour over rocks in a double old-fashioned glass.
