Gourmet Steak Sandwich
- 1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra
- 400g piece eye fillet beef Whole Foods 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 4 Turkish bread rolls, spilt
- lettuce leaves
- 1/3 cup KRAFT Classic Mayonnaise
- Place tomatoes in a baking tray and drizzle with oil and balsamic vinegar, season to taste.
- Bake at 160C for 15-20 minutes until softened.
- Heat the oil in a large frypan; cook steak over medium heat and brown for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from pan and place in the oven at 200C for 10 minutes or until just cooked through.
- Remove, cover with foil, and rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Place lettuce leaves in the bread rolls and top with sliced beef.
- Drizzle with mayonnaise and top with roasted tomatoes.
- Serve.
