Gourmet Steak Sandwich

  1. Place tomatoes in a baking tray and drizzle with oil and balsamic vinegar, season to taste.
  2. Bake at 160C for 15-20 minutes until softened.
  3. Heat the oil in a large frypan; cook steak over medium heat and brown for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove from pan and place in the oven at 200C for 10 minutes or until just cooked through.
  5. Remove, cover with foil, and rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  6. Place lettuce leaves in the bread rolls and top with sliced beef.
  7. Drizzle with mayonnaise and top with roasted tomatoes.
  8. Serve.
