Butter Steamed Vegetables With Soup Flavored Mayonnaise

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into quarters and slice about 1 cm thick.
  2. Put in a bowl of water and drain, then microwave for 3 minutes at 600 W.
  3. Cut the cabbage up roughly.
  4. Slice the bacon into 2 cm wide pieces.
  5. Mix the mayonnaise and soup stock granules together.
  6. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
  7. Add the potatoes, cabbage and bacon and stir fry briefly.
  8. Cover with a tight fitting lid, and steam cooke over low-medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  9. Mix the contents of the pan 1 or 2 times while it steam cooks.
  10. Turn off the heat, mix in the combined mayonnaise and soup stock from Step 3 and it's done!
