Butter Steamed Vegetables With Soup Flavored Mayonnaise
- 2 Potatoes
- 300 grams Cabbage
- 4 slice Bacon
- 10 grams Butter
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Soup stock granules
- Peel the potatoes, cut into quarters and slice about 1 cm thick.
- Put in a bowl of water and drain, then microwave for 3 minutes at 600 W.
- Cut the cabbage up roughly.
- Slice the bacon into 2 cm wide pieces.
- Mix the mayonnaise and soup stock granules together.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan.
- Add the potatoes, cabbage and bacon and stir fry briefly.
- Cover with a tight fitting lid, and steam cooke over low-medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Mix the contents of the pan 1 or 2 times while it steam cooks.
- Turn off the heat, mix in the combined mayonnaise and soup stock from Step 3 and it's done!
