Refreshing Potato Stir-Fry

  1. Slice the potatoes into 5mm wide strips and soak in water for 5 minute to get rid of the astringent taste.
  2. Slice the green pepper in the same manner.
  3. Finely slice the red chili pepper.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the red chili pepper.
  5. Add the ground pork and when it changes color, add the water and the potatoes.
  6. Cook for a short time.
  7. Add sake to Step 3 and cover with a lid.
  8. Occasionally open the lid to stir everything up, and steam-fry for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Once the potatoes have become somewhat transparent, add the green peppers and cook quickly while mixing them in.
  10. Stir in the sweet and sour soy sauce.
  11. Serve on a dish and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
