Artichoke Tart In Walnut Pastry Recipe
- 8 x Minced scallions,
- 6 ounce Jar marinated artichoke hear
- 1 c. Light cream
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1/2 pt Salt
- 1 c. All purpose flour
- 1/2 pt Salt
- 8 tsp Cool unsalted butter, cut up
- 1 x Egg
- 1 cl garlic, finely chopped 4 Tablespoons
- Butter ea Grnd pepper, to taste 8 ounce Gruyere cheese, grated WALNUT PASTRY 1/2 c walnuts, toasted, cooledPreheat oven to 375 degrees for 10 min.

- Saute/fry scallions and garlic in butter till softened.
- Cut artichoke

- Combine cream, Large eggs, salt and pepper in medium bowl.

- Sprinkle grated cheese over the bottom of the partially baked crust.
- 4.
- Bake 35 min till golden brown and slightly puffy.
- Let rest 10 WALNUT PASTRY 1.
- Process walnuts till coarsely grnd.
- Add in flour and salt to work 2.
- Place pcs of butter atop dry ingredients and pulse till mix 3.
- Add in egg and process just till mix begins to hold together.
- Do 4.
- Remove dough from processor and shape into a flattened disc.
- Cover

- Roll dough large sufficient to fit into 10 inch quiche or possibly tart pan.
- 6.
- Line chilled pastry with large sheet of aluminum foil and fill
scallions, hear, light cream, eggs, salt, flour, salt, unsalted butter, egg, garlic
