Lasagna
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 jar or can canned tomatoes
- garlic powder to taste
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 large bags Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Parmesan cheese (as needed)
- Brown meat
- with
- onions, salt and pepper.
- Drain.
- Add tomato paste and
- sauce,
- tomatoes
- and garlic.
- Bring to boil and let simmer for 1 hour (the longer it simmers the better it is).
- It may be
- necessary
- to
- add a little water if sauce is too thick. Cook noodles (put a small amount of cooking oil in water to keep the noodles from sticking.) Drain.
