Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte

  1. Heat oven to 325F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, yolks, and sugar with electric mixer on medium-high speed until it ribbons, about 6 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a microwavable bowl, melt peanut butter, butter, and chocolate on high 1 minute.
  4. Stir and repeat until mixture is smooth.
  5. Cool.
  6. In three additions, fold egg mixture into chocolate mixture.
  7. Pour into a prepared pie shell.
  8. Sprinkle peanuts over top of pie.
  9. Bake 12 minutes.
  10. Surface will be soft and somewhat liquid in the center.
  11. Allow to cool for 30 minutes and serve.
  12. Filling will be slightly runny and ooze out of the pie wedge.
