Toasted Walnut Bread

  1. Combine flours, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Combine egg, milk, oil and vanilla.
  3. Stir into dry mixture just until moistened.
  4. Fold in nuts.
  5. Transfer to an 8x4x2-inch loaf pan coated with nonstick spray.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees 50-55 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
