Little Piggy Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine sugar, 1 cup melted butter, eggs and vanilla in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  4. Add flour, baking soda and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
  6. Flatten dough with bottom of glass.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 cup butter and vanilla in bowl.
  10. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often and gradually adding enough milk, for desired spreading consistency.
  11. Frost cooled cookies.
  12. Cut wafer cookies into triangles.
  13. Place 2 triangles in top of frosted cookie for ears.
  14. Cut marshmallows in half crosswise; place 1 marshmallow half in center of bottom half of cookie for snout.
  15. Dip point of toothpick in red food color to mark nostrils.
  16. Place candy pieces onto frosting for eyes.
