Pot Roast Of Beef A La Mode Recipe

  1. Marinate beef overnight in vinegar, water, sliced onions, bay, celery seed and MSG.
  2. Brown meat and place in roaster and add in the marinade and additional water if needed.
  3. Add in salt, pepper, parsley.
  4. Bake covered for about an hour and then add in the whole vegetables and dry herbs.
  5. In the last half hour of cooking 1/4 c. red wine may be added.
  6. Thicken gravy before serving.
