SURE.JELL for Less or No Sugar Needed Recipes - Apricot Freezer Jam

  1. Rinse clean plastic containers and lids with boiling water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Pit and finely chop unpeeled apricots.
  4. Measure exactly 4 cups chopped apricots into large bowl.
  5. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. Mix sugar and pectin in large saucepan.
  7. Stir in water.
  8. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  9. Boil and stir 1 min.
  10. Remove from heat.
  11. Add apricots; stir 1 min.
  12. or until well blended.
  13. Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
  14. Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
  15. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours.
  16. Jam is now ready to use.
  17. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze extra containers up to 1 year.
  18. Thaw in refrigerator before using.
