Simply Elegant Steak & Rice Recipe

  1. Cut steak into thin strips.
  2. In a large skillet (ovenproof, if you like), brown meat in oil, using high heat.
  3. Add in onions; saute/fry till tender-crisp.
  4. Blend soup, sherry, liquid from mushrooms and garlic salt.
  5. Pour over steak.
  6. Add in mushrooms.
  7. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour or possibly till steak is tender (or possibly cover and bake at 350 degrees).
  8. Serve over beds of fluffy rice.
  9. Makes 6 servings.
