Bridget's Holiday Irish Soda Bread Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly moisten raisins.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl and add in Large eggs, stirring with a wooden spoon.
  4. Slowly stir in buttermilk and add in melted butter.
  5. Stir in raisins.
  6. Because dough is soft, it bakes in a greased 9"x4"x3" pan.
  7. Bake for 1 hour or possibly till toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
