Spaghetti Squares
- 300 g (1/3 of 900-g pkg.) spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground beef Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 jar (650 mL) Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1/3 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- 2 Tbsp. non-hydrogenated margarine
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
- Add peppers; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in pasta sauce.
- Drain spaghetti; toss with Parmesan, margarine and eggs.
- Place in 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray; top with layers of cottage cheese, meat mixture and mozzarella.
- Bake 20 min.
- or until heated through.
