Chocolate Goat Milk Fudge

  1. Melt chocolate in milk.
  2. Add sugar and corn syrup; cook slowly, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
  3. Cook gently to softball stage (234F), stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat; add butter and cool at room temperature until lukewarm without stirring.
  5. Add vanilla; beat vigorously until fudge becomes very thick and loses its gloss.
  6. Quickly spread in butter pan.
  7. When firm, cut into squares.
