Slow Cooker Melt in Your Mouth Cube Steak and Gravy

  1. Roll cubed steak in flour.
  2. Place in hot oil for frying.
  3. Brown on both sides (you dont have to cook it all the way through just sear it).
  4. Place steak in crock pot along with mushrooms.
  5. Cover with two cups of water.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  7. Half an hour before serving mix the gravy packs with the remaining cup of water.
  8. Pour the gravy mixture over the cubed steak.
  9. Let cook for 30 minutes more or until the gravy has thickened.
