Baked Chicken Parmesan
- 2 cups Italian Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Dried Oregano
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
- 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce
- 3/4 cups Mozzarella Cheese
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly coat a shallow baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Set aside.
- Pour breadcrumbs onto a shallow baking dish or plate.
- Add garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
- Stir to combine.
- Add beaten eggs to a medium bowl.
- Take one piece of chicken and add to eggs, ensuring entire piece is coated.
- Then, dredge chicken in bread crumb mixture, coating all sides, and place onto prepared baking dish.
- Repeat with rest of chicken.
- Spray a thin coating of nonstick cooking spray on each piece of chicken.
- Bake for 2530 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
- Remove from oven, spoon 3 tablespoons sauce on each piece and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately.
