Worlds Best Onion/Garlic Lime Wings
- 20 chicken wings
- 12 cup vidalia onion, bbq sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 12 zest of a lime
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 dash cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup flour
- 12 cup cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon seasoning salt
- Mix the BBQ Sauce, Honey, Lime Zest and its Juice, Lime Juice, Garlic, and all the spices except the seasoning salt together in a bowl and set aside.
- Mix the Flour, Corn Starch, and Seasoning Salt together in a bowl.
- Line all the wings up on a sheet of wax paper.
- Using a small flour sifter, lightly dust both sides of the wings.
- Set the deep fryer up 350-370 degrees.
- When oil is at right temperature lightly dust both sides of the wings again and put them in the fryer.
- Fry for 6-8 minutes.
- While wingsare frying put the butter in a medium sauce pan and melt on medium high heat.
- When melted, add the sauce to the pan and cook gently.
- Stirring often.
- When wings are done, drain properly and add to the sauce mixture.
- Make sure wings get good and coated.
- Serve with blue cheese and enjoy!
