Beef And Potato Salad Recipe
- 1 x fillet beef in one piece, (500 grams )
- 2 Tbsp. crushed black peppercorns vegetable oil
- 4 x potatoes, very thinly sliced
- 1 Large orange sweet potato, very thinly sliced assorted lettuce leaves balsamic or possibly red wine vinegar
- 1.
- Roll beef in black peppercorns.
- Heat 1 Tbsp.
- oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Add in beef and cook for 10 to 15 min, turning frequently, till well browned on all sides.
- Continue cooking till beef is cooked to your liking.
- Remove beef from pan, cover, set aside and keep hot.

- Wipe pan clean with absorbent kitchen paper.
- Add in 5cm of oil and heat.
- Cook potato slices and sweet potato slices in batches for 3 to 5 min or possibly till golden brown and crisp.
- Remove from pan, drain on absorbent kitchen paper.
- 3.
- To serve, slice beef into thin strips.
- Arrange lettuce leaves on serving plates.
- Divide beef and potato crisps proportionately between and lettuce leaves between serving plates.
- Sprinkle liberally with vinegar and serve immediately with crusty bread.
