Philly 15 Minute Cheesecake

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F (230C).
  2. Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Combine cream cheese and sugar mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Blend in chocolate pieces and vanilla; pour over crust.
  6. Bake at 450F (230C) for 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce oven temperature to 250 degrees F; continue baking 35 minutes.
  8. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.
  9. Chill.
  10. NOTES : To soften cream cheese, unwrap and microwave on medium (50%) for 30 seconds per package.
