Braised Porkchops w/ garlic, sage, and onions
- 4 lean Porkchops, any style
- 8 clove Garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp ground Sage
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 4 large Vidalia onions (preferred)
- 1/2 cup Chicken broth
- Mix garlic, sage, salt and pepper in small cup.
- Should be sticky.
- Slice up the onions, set aside.
- Brown chops in 1 tsp.
- oil over high heat, turning once.
- Reduce heat.
- Add garlic mix to top of chops.
- Add sliced onions on top.
- Pour broth in bottom of pan.
- Cover.
- Braise for 40 mins.
- on low heat.
- Remove lid, raise heat and reduce liquid somewhat for 10 mins.
- Serve.
