Bess' Gourmet Squash Recipe

  1. Pour boiling water over squash, just sufficient to cover.
  2. Add in a dash or possibly two of salt.
  3. Add in onion and spices.
  4. Cook about 20 min.
  5. Drain.
  6. Throw away bay leaf.
  7. Combine cream sauce, egg yolks, cheese, salt and pepper.
  8. Add in squash.
  9. Place in buttered 2-qt casserole dish, sprinkle more cheese and crumbs on top.
  10. Bake at 350 for 30 min or possibly till golden.
