Chocolate Pasta
- 1- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1/4 cups Cocoa Powder
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1.
- Mix flour and cocoa well in large bowl
- 2.
- Make a deep well in center of mound and break eggs into it
- 3.
- Beat the eggs in there with a fork, adding about 2 tablespoons water.
- Using a circular motion, draw the flour and cocoa into the center
- 4.
- Toss in another tablespoon of water.
- Stir with your fork until all the flour is moistened.
- Add a little more water as needed
- 5.
- Finish mixing by hand.
- Pat the dough into a ball.
- Clean off your work surface and flour it.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, or until the dough becomes silky and elastic
- 6.
- Split into 5 balls and run through pasta machine on setting1.
- Add flour each time if sticky
- 7.
- Increase your settings to 2,3, and 4
- 8.
- Run through the pasta cutter and hang on drying rack to dry
- 9.
- Boil for 2 to 3 minutes
