'V' walnut cake

  1. cream margerine, sugar and syrup until light and creamy
  2. beat in the eggs with a little flour
  3. gradually add remaining flour, milk and nuts.
  4. place mixture into greased and floured 18 cm cake tin
  5. bake in a moderate oven 180C, 350F for about 1 hour
