Ham Hock In Sweet Black Vineger And Ginger
- 1 1/2 cup mash old ginger.
- 1 1/4 kg ham hock /pork knuckle
- 1 small bottle of essence of chicken (optional )
- 1 liter spiced black vineger
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp light soy sauce
- 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
- Saute mash ginger and garlic clove with ham hock / pork knuckle and clove ,cinnamon stick with star anise then add extra 1bottle of essence of chicken (optional )
- put all ingredient into a preasure cooker then add in the spiced black vineger with brown sugar , dark soy sauce and light soy sauce and mix well then cook on high for 40 minute, best serve with white rice
- I used spiced black vineger but its (OPTIONAL ) If using sweeten black vineger just omit the brown sugar
