Lemon Thai Soup With Shrimp
- 2 gallons seafood stock
- 1 large onion
- 12 cup garlic
- 1 large jalapeno
- 34 cup flour
- 13 cup sesame oil
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 3 tablespoons ginger
- 4 ounces Thai seasoning
- 12 cup cilantro
- 1 bunch green onion
- 34 cup sweet soy sauce
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 1 lb shrimp
- Saute onion, garlic and jalapeno until soft.
- Add flour to make a roux.
- Add Cold seafood stock to roux.
- If you ad warm stock to warm roux you will have lumps.
- Add all remaining ingredients except shrimp.
- Simmer 1-2 hours.
- Add cooked shrimp just prior to serving.
