My Family's Soy Milk Hot Pot

  1. Put the water and kombu in a pot and place it on the heat.
  2. Remove the kombu just before it starts to boil, and add the soy milk and the ingredients marked .
  3. Turn the heat on again (we eat the kombu as well, so we keep it in.
  4. When it has come to the boil, add the other ingredients, and let them cook through to finish.
  5. The pork is nice with a sprinkle of salt.
