Microwave One Step Lasagna Recipe

  1. Crumble beef into microwave-safe colander, place colander in a 9 inch pie plate.
  2. Cover with wax paper, microwave on high 5 to 6 min or possibly till the meat is no longer pink, stirring after 3 min.
  3. Combine beef, sauce, water and wine.
  4. Spread 1/3 of mix in a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish.
  5. Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on sauce mix.
  6. Layer 1 c. cottage cheese and 1 c. Mozzarella cheese over noodles.
  7. Spoon 1/2 of remaining sauce over cheese.
  8. Top with 4 remaining noodles and 1 c. cottage cheese, 1 c. Mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover tightly with heavy-duty plastic wrap.
  11. Fold back a small corner of wrap to allow steam to escape.
  12. Microwave at medium (50% power) 32 to 35 min, giving dish a 1/2 turn after 15 min, uncover.
  13. Sprinkle with remaining c. of Mozzarella cheese and microwave at medium 2 min.
  14. Before serving, garnish with pepper rings if you like.
