Grape Caesar's Ghost Cobbler

  1. Peel, core and slice the apples and put them in a buttered 9" square pan.
  2. Combine the grape concentrate and the tapioca and pour over the apple slices.
  3. (Author's note: Yes, it looks odd, but be patient.
  4. It tastes fine).
  5. Preheat oven to 425.
  6. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  7. Add the sugar.
  8. Combine the egg, milk and melted butter and stir gently into flour mixture.
  9. Spread over the apples.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes.
  11. Serve with ice cream.
