Gingerbread

  1. Cream together shortening, eggs, sugar and syrup; add buttermilk.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture.
  3. Mix well, pour into a greased and floured pan.
  4. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until done.
