Barbecued Chicken In A Bag Recipe
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer chicken, cut up
- 2 teaspoon catsup
- 2 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2 teaspoon butter
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 4 teaspoon water
- 1 teaspoon mustard, prepared or possibly dry
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper, or possibly salt & pepper to taste
- C. up chicken as for frying.
- Mix all remaining ingredients in saucepan and heat.
- Drop chicken piece by piece in sauce, soaking well.
- Place in greased paper bag (brown paper), close bag with paper chip.
- Place on pan and bake at 450 or possibly 500 degrees for 15 min.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 1 1/2 hrs longer.
- Very good.
