Orange, Ginger and Tofu Main Dish
- 1 (14 ounce) package extra firm tofu, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 14 cup low sodium soy sauce or 14 cup Braggs liquid aminos
- 14 cup honey
- 2 mandarin oranges, peeled and seeded
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 12 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 23 cup canned water chestnut
- Mix together honey, soy sauce, and ginger together.
- Spoon sauce over tofu slices, than arrange tofu slices in baking pan.
- Place mandarin oranges over tofu slices.
- Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, or until tofu lightly browns.
- In pan, add oil, garlic, broccoli and chestnuts.
- Cook until garlic is browned and broccoli and chestnuts are crisp tender.
- Serve tofu, oranges, and vegetables over steamed or white rice.
