Curried Onions Recipe
- 4 med. white onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 teaspoon curry pwdr
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Saute/fry onions in butter over very low heat (very slow cooking of the onions gives them a very delicate, almost sweet taste).
- Saute/fry till limp and translucent/soft.
- Stir in curry pwdr and salt and pepper and continue cooking 3 to 4 min.
- Serve as a topping for warm dogs, along with mustard and sauerkraut if you like.
