Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

  1. Knead with hand in a small bowl graham cracker crumbs, ground walnuts, 4 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons sugar until blended.
  2. Press crumb mixture onto bottom and half way up side of a 9 x 3-inch spring-form pan.
  3. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  4. In a large bowl with mixer at low speed, beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup butter until smooth.
  5. Add orange peel, almond extract, eggs and 1/2 cup sugar; beat until well blended, occasionally scraping bowl with a rubber spatula.
  6. Fold in chocolate pieces.
  7. Spoon into pan.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.
  9. Cool and cover; refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  10. To serve, carefully remove side of pan from cheese cake.
  11. Serves about 16 (approximately 380 calories).
