Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy
- 1-1/2 lb. (675 g) extra-lean ground beef
- 1 pkg. (120 g) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
- 1-1/2 cups water, divided
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) Heinz Mushroom Gravy
- Mix meat, stuffing mix, onions, 1 cup water and egg just until blended; shape into 6 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add patties; cook 5 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Drain.
- Mix gravy with remaining water; pour over patties.
- Bring to boil; cover.
- Cook on low heat 5 min.
