Favorite Stroganoff

  1. Slice the sirloin into 1/4 inch by 2 inch slices, set aside.
  2. Saute onion and mushrooms in olive oil until softened.
  3. Add the sirloin, cover and simmer on medium low for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain 1/2 of the juice from the pan.
  5. Add the sherry, cream of mushroom soup, paprika, dry mustard, salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  7. Add the sour cream to the mixture and heat through.
  8. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
